Job Position: Site Coordinator

Reports to: Construction Manager

Purpose: Are you ready for a dynamic role that takes you on the road to manage and coordinate field operations? Join us as a Traveling Field Site Coordinator and be part of a team that thrives on excellence and innovation. In coordination with the Construction Manager, serve as the on-site administrative support and quality and efficiency control for the Project Manager This position is a 100% travel position and will travel with the crew. 

Responsibilities

  • Accept all deliveries on site. Ensure material and equipment are offloaded and stored appropriately. 
  • Compare all shipments and bills of lading against site bill of materials, ensuring all materials received are complete and in acceptable condition. 
  • Maintain constant accountability of all site materials and immediately report shortfalls to Construction Manager and Project Management team. 
  • Assist the crew with layout and staging of materials to ensure efficient construction of sites.
  • Coordinate with crew members and foreman to establish tool requirements and communicate non-standard requests to the Construction Manager for approval.
  • In coordination with the Project Management team, submit tool requests to KE asset management as directed by Construction Manager.
  • Ensure complete accountability of all company owned and rental tools on site. Report damaged or lost tools immediately to the Construction Manager.
  • Keep job trailers organized and clean. Develop system to establish daily check-out and check-in of tools from trailer.
  • Populate Traqspera timecards for crew members according to appropriate phase codes based off tasks completed. Report deviations from planned construction schedules to Construction Manager. 
  • Serve as on-site quality assurance. Perform quality checks as directed by the Construction Manager and Project Management team. Upload necessary photos to the Procore project page to include project and customer benchmarks.
  • In coordination with the Construction Manager, prepare and submit daily logs via Procore, capturing progress of site, and any photos as directed by the Project Management team. 
  • Familiarize yourself with the site safety plan. Be prepared to assist with safety requirements in coordination with the Construction Manager and Project Management team.
  • As time permits, and at the direction of the Construction Manager, assist the crew with construction tasks. 
  • Understand projects timelines and assist in tracking daily production goals of the crew by specific tasks. Communicate daily efficiency marks with both the crew foreman and Construction Manager.
  • Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel and work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Project Management, Construction Management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with basic Project and Construction field administration.
  • Knowledge of electrical, and/or photovoltaic (solar) construction.
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license that represents a history of safe & competent driving.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications (i.e., Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, walk, and sit for long periods of time
  • Must be capable of working in inclement conditions to include extreme hot and cold temperatures.
  • Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 80 lbs.
